General Media Center Use Rules

Learn the permitted purposes of the General Media Center and the rules for using its facilities and services.

Permitted purposes

The General Media Center's facilities and services are intended for educational and research purposes. Use for other purposes, or other misconduct, may result in disciplinary action under university regulations.

Follow staff instructions

Users must follow staff instructions inside the facility. If you do not follow instructions, your use of the facility will be stopped immediately and you will be required to leave. Your use of the services may also be stopped.

Food, drinks, smoking, and umbrellas

Food and drinks may not generally be brought into the facility, and smoking is strictly prohibited. However, drinks in a sealed container with a lid are permitted. Bringing a wet umbrella into the facility is prohibited.
