Human Sciences Credit Requirements

The required Human Sciences credits differ by academic year, campus, and curriculum. The applicable requirements are listed below.

Requirements by curriculum

For the 2026 academic year at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, Faculty of Science and Technology, Life Science curriculum model, students need 12 credits in Human Sciences courses to progress from the third year to the fourth year, and 16 credits to meet the graduation requirement.

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, Faculty of Engineering, Division II, the standard graduation-credit table requires 8 credits in Human Sciences courses as part of Common Education courses.
