Optional Selection Subject Credits

Credits counted and required

For the 2026 Architectural and Urban Environmental Studies curriculum model at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus, Faculty of Science and Technology, the following credits count as Optional Selection Subjects:

- General Education or Specialized Education credits earned beyond the required graduation totals. - Specialized Education credits earned after you have earned more than 80 credits, including Independent Selection Subjects. - Credits earned by taking and passing subjects offered by another faculty or by another university that is an agreement school.

For progression from the third year to the fourth year, the Optional Selection Subjects requirement is 0 credits. For graduation, 2 credits are required in Optional Selection Subjects.
