Recognition of Prior Learning Credits

Eligibility and maximum number of credits

For new entrants, excluding transfer entrants and similar admission categories, credits earned before admission may be recognized as credits earned or courses completed at Tokyo Denki University. Eligible prior learning may include courses completed at another university or junior college, including courses taken as a non-degree student; study in an advanced course at a junior college or college of technology; and other learning separately specified by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Recognition may be granted when the Faculty Council considers the learning educationally beneficial. The maximum number of recognized credits is 60.
