Eligibility for Qualification-Based Credit Recognition

For the 2025 and 2026 academic years, credit recognition is limited to courses in your own academic unit, and applications or recognition are not available during a leave of absence.

2026: Courses in Your Own Academic Unit

For the 2026 academic year in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, only courses belonging to your own academic unit are eligible when a qualification is matched to an academic-unit course. Courses from other academic units are not recognized, including courses from another academic unit taken through a minor course.

2026: Recognition During a Leave of Absence

For the 2026 academic year in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, you cannot apply for qualification-based credit recognition or receive credit recognition during a leave of absence.

2025: Courses in Your Own Academic Unit

For the 2025 academic year in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, only courses belonging to your own academic unit are recognized when a qualification is matched to an academic-unit course. Courses belonging to other academic units are not recognized.
