How Recognized Credits Count Toward Progression and Graduation
For students in the School of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, recognized qualification-based credits may count toward progression and graduation requirements, including when the recognized course is assigned to a higher year.
Use of recognized qualification-based credits
For the 2026 academic year, a recognized course assigned to a year above your current year can still be recorded on your transcript and may be counted toward graduation requirements. It may also be counted toward progression conditions for the 2025 and 2026 academic years. In some cases, qualification-based credit recognition can fulfill the required number of credits and make progression or graduation possible. The application schedule is therefore important.
