Grading of Previously Earned Credits After Transfer or Readmission

This page explains how common education and specialized education subjects are graded for students who transfer or are readmitted.

Students Who Transfer

For students who transfer to another faculty, common education subjects, including human sciences and English subjects, are graded RS, RA, RB, or RC. Specialized education subjects are also graded RS, RA, RB, or RC. However, the department to which the student transfers may assess these credits as RN. For students who transfer between departments within the Faculty of Engineering Division II, common education subjects are graded S, A, B, or C. Specialized education subjects are graded RS, RA, RB, or RC. The destination department may assess either type of subject as RN.

Students Who Are Readmitted

For students readmitted to the Faculty of Engineering Division II, common education subjects, including human sciences and English subjects, are graded RS, RA, RB, or RC. The department to which the student is readmitted may assess these credits as RN.
