Semester Course-Registration Credit Limits

This page explains the semester credit limit and which courses are included or excluded under the applicable 2025 rules.

2025 limit at Tokyo Senju Campus

For the Faculty of System Design and Technology at Tokyo Senju Campus, the maximum number of credits that may be registered for in each semester is 22. Free courses and intensive lecture courses are not included in this semester course-registration credit limit.

Humanities and social sciences open-course credits

For the Faculty of Engineering, credits for courses taken through the humanities and social sciences open-course system count toward the semester course-registration credit limit.
