Semester Registration Limits and Exceptions

This page explains which courses are excluded from the semester registration limit and when students with excellent academic results may register beyond the stated limit.

System Design and Technology: excluded courses and exceeding the limit

For the 2026 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, the 22-credit-per-semester registration limit for the Faculty of System Design and Technology does not include free courses or intensive lecture courses. A student who has earned the prescribed credits with excellent academic results may register for courses beyond the stated credit limit. The registration method is prescribed separately.

Engineering: eligibility to exceed the limit

For the 2026 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, students in the Faculty of Engineering who have earned the prescribed credits with excellent academic results may exceed the semester registration limit stated in the preceding provision.
