Recognition of Previously Earned Specialized Education Credits

For 2025 transfer students in the Faculty of System Design and Technology, previously earned specialized education credits are generally assessed through course-by-course correspondence. Credits without a corresponding course may be recognized as a block at the receiving department’s discretion.

How Specialized Education Credits Are Recognized

Previously earned credits for specialized education subjects are recognized by matching them to corresponding courses. If a previously completed subject cannot be matched to a corresponding course, the department you transfer into may recognize those credits as a comprehensive block.
