Subject Teaching Methods Credits for Teaching Licenses

For the Faculty of System Design Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus, the required credits for Subject Teaching Methods depend on the type of teaching license and academic year.

Required credits

For the 2025 academic year, the Subject Teaching Methods component requires 8 credits for a first-class junior high school teaching license and 4 credits for a first-class high school teaching license. These amounts are both the legal minimum and the number of credits established by the university. The same requirements apply for the 2026 academic year: 8 credits for a first-class junior high school teaching license and 4 credits for a first-class high school teaching license.
