Requirements for Progressing from the Third Year to the Fourth Year

For the 2026 academic year, students at Tokyo Senju Campus in the School of Science and Technology for Future Life must meet the following credit and required-subject conditions to progress to the fourth year.

Credit and required-subject requirements

By the end of the third year, you must have earned at least 106 credits. Free elective subjects are not included in this total.

You must also have earned at least: - 16 credits in Natural Sciences subjects, including 8 required subjects; - 10 credits in Human Sciences subjects; - 6 credits in English subjects; - 2 credits in Hands-on Workshop; - 2 credits in Global Literacy subjects; and - 2 credits in Technical Literacy subjects.

In addition, you must have earned credit for all required subjects allocated through the third year, including the 7 required Natural Sciences subjects.
