Eligibility for a Doctoral Degree by Dissertation Submission

A doctoral degree may be awarded through dissertation submission when the required review, academic ability assessment, and equivalency standards are met.

Dissertation-Based Doctoral Degree Eligibility

In addition to the doctoral completion route, a doctoral degree may be awarded to a person who submits a dissertation to the University, passes the dissertation review and confirmation of academic ability, and is recognized as equal to or above a person who has completed the prescribed enrollment period in the later stage of the University's doctoral program and earned the prescribed credits in the prescribed major subjects. This recognition must apply to both personal character and academic ability.
