Class Measures During Transit Strikes at Tokyo Senju Campus

This page explains which classes are cancelled and when normal classes continue during a reported transit suspension caused by a strike or similar disruption.

When the transit-strike measures apply

The measures apply when a strike or similar disruption is reported to suspend service on all JR lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area, or on private railway and subway lines serving the Tokyo Senju Campus's nearest stations, Kitasenju Station and Keisei Sekiya Station.

Classes cancelled based on the time

If the service suspension is still in effect at 6:00 a.m., the first- and second-period classes are cancelled. If it is still in effect at 9:00 a.m., the third- and fourth-period classes are cancelled. If it is still in effect at 3:00 p.m., the fifth-period class is cancelled.

If service has resumed by 6:00 a.m.

If the strike-related service suspension has been lifted by 6:00 a.m., classes are held according to the normal schedule.
