Tuition Payment Deadlines and Consequences of Late Payment

This page explains semester tuition deadlines and the consequences of leaving tuition unpaid, with dates shown by academic year, campus, and faculty.

2026: Tokyo Senju Campus, Faculty of Engineering, Division II

For new students in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, the first-semester payment deadline is June 10. At that time, only the credit-based tuition amount is payable; the rest of the first-semester tuition is treated as already paid during the admission procedures. The second-semester payment deadline for new students is November 10. For students who are not new students, first-semester tuition is due by June 10 and second-semester tuition is due by November 10.

2025: Tokyo Senju Campus, Faculty of Engineering, Division II

For new students in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, the first-semester payment deadline is June 10, and only the credit-based tuition amount is payable at that time. The rest of the first-semester tuition is treated as already paid during the admission procedures. The second-semester payment deadline is November 10. Students who do not pay first-semester tuition by the end of July or second-semester tuition by the end of January are removed from the student register.

Consequences of unpaid tuition

If tuition remains unpaid after the prescribed payment date, the student is removed from the student register under the university regulations. This rule is stated for the 2026 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of System Design and Technology, and for the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Engineering.

2025: Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology

For the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, first-semester tuition must be paid by the end of July and second-semester tuition must be paid by the end of January. Failure to pay by these deadlines results in removal from the student register.

2026: Saitama Hatoyama Campus, Faculty of Science and Technology

At Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Technology, first-semester tuition must be paid by the end of July and second-semester tuition must be paid by the end of January. Students who do not pay by these deadlines are removed from the student register.
