Tuition Deferment After Returning from Leave

Tuition deferment is not available for the term in which you return from a leave of absence. For eligible deferments, the permitted extension period ends at the end of June for the first term and the end of December for the second term.

Deferment for the Term of Return

Tuition deferment procedures cannot be completed for the term in which you return from a leave of absence. This rule is supported for the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in academic year 2026 and for the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2025.

Deadlines for an Approved Extension

For the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in academic year 2026, the permitted tuition extension period ends on June 30 for the first term and December 31 for the second term.
