Program Completion and Degrees Awarded

This page explains who decides program completion and which students are awarded degrees under the university regulations.

Degrees awarded upon completion

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, students who complete the master's program or the latter doctoral program are awarded a degree under Article 23(1) of the University's Graduate School Regulations. Graduates of the university are awarded a degree under Article 32(1) of the University's Regulations.

Who decides program completion

For the 2026 academic year at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, the Graduate School Committee decides whether persons covered by Article 3(1) and Article 3(3) have completed their respective programs, in accordance with the University's Graduate School Regulations.
