Conduct That May Lead to University Discipline

This page explains conduct that may result in disciplinary action and the types of discipline available under the university rules.

Conduct subject to disciplinary action

A student may be disciplined if they violate university rules or regulations, or act contrary to their proper duties as a student. Disciplinary withdrawal may be imposed when a student's conduct is poor and there is no prospect of improvement, when the student disrupts university order, or when the student otherwise seriously contravenes the proper duties of a student. The university president imposes discipline after deliberation by the faculty council.

Types of disciplinary action

Depending on the circumstances, the types of disciplinary action are withdrawal, suspension, and reprimand.
