Requirements for Progression from Year 3 to Year 4

For the 2026 Architectural and Urban Environment Studies curriculum model, progression to Year 4 requires at least 104 qualifying credits and minimum credits in specified subject categories.

Year 4 progression requirements

To progress from Year 3 to Year 4, you must earn at least 104 credits from subjects assigned to Years 1–3 and satisfy each listed progression condition. Free-subject credits are not included in the credits counted toward these conditions. The category-specific minimums are: Human Sciences subjects, 12 credits; English subjects, 6 credits; Mathematics subjects, 4 credits; Information subjects, 2 credits; and Natural Science and Technology subjects, 6 credits, subject to Note 1.
