Academic Examination Conduct and Misconduct Consequences

For 2026 examinations at the Tokyo Senju Campus, students must follow supervisors’ instructions and obtain permission before lending or borrowing writing implements. Examination misconduct can invalidate multiple subjects.

Following examination rules

During an academic examination, a student may be ordered to leave the room for not following the supervisor’s instructions or for poor examination conduct, such as talking privately. Students may not lend or borrow writing implements or similar items unless the supervisor gives permission.

Effect of examination misconduct

If examination misconduct occurs, all subjects in which the student took an academic examination after the announcement of the Academic Examination Implementation Guidelines are invalidated. This includes subjects assessed through reports and similar work.
