Academic Examination Conduct and Misconduct Rules

This page explains required examination conduct, permission to borrow writing materials, and the consequences of misconduct.

Follow the supervisor's instructions

During academic examinations, you may be ordered to leave the room if you do not follow the supervisor's instructions or if your examination conduct is poor, such as talking during the examination.

Borrowing writing materials

You may not lend or borrow writing materials or similar items during an academic examination without the supervisor's permission.

Consequences of misconduct

For the 2025 academic year, every subject examination conducted after the announcement of the academic examination implementation guidelines, including examinations using reports, will be invalidated if misconduct occurs.
