Examination Late Arrival and Early Departure Rules

The rules differ by academic year for students in the School of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus. The 2026 rule leaves both late arrival and early departure to the supervisor’s judgment, while a 2025 rule specifies an early-departure window for designated-subject examination dates.

2026: Late Arrival and Early Departure

For academic tests conducted during class in the 2026 academic year, the supervisor decides how late arrival and leaving before the end of the test are handled.

2025: Early Departure Window

For designated-subject examination dates in the 2025 academic year, leaving the examination early is permitted from 40 minutes after the examination begins until 10 minutes before it ends.
