Requirements for Advancement to the Next Academic Year

For the 2026 academic year, students in the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus must meet the applicable advancement conditions, including the enrollment-period and payment requirements.

Conditions for advancement

As a general rule, you advance to the next academic year when all applicable advancement conditions have been met. You must have been enrolled in the same academic year for a combined total of at least 12 months. A leave-of-absence period is not included in this enrollment period. If specific advancement conditions are set out in Sections 6-1, 6-2, or 6-3, you must meet those conditions as well. Payment of the required tuition and other fees is also a general condition for advancement.
