Doctoral Dissertation Publication Deadline

A doctoral degree recipient must publish the full text of the dissertation within one year after the degree is awarded, unless it was already published before the award.

Publication requirement and exception

For a person awarded a doctoral degree, the full text of the dissertation must be published within one year from the date the degree is awarded. This full-text publication requirement does not apply if the dissertation was already published before the doctoral degree was awarded.
