Who Can Serve as Your Guarantor?

The guarantor eligibility requirement differs by academic year and faculty scope covered here.

Guarantor eligibility

For the 2025 academic year, students in the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division, at Tokyo Senju Campus must have a guarantor who is their father, mother, or another adult maintaining an independent livelihood. The same requirement applies in the 2026 academic year to students in the Faculty of Engineering and to students in the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division, at Tokyo Senju Campus.
