Credit Limits and Credit Categories for Courses in Other Faculties or Departments

For the 2025 academic year, students in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II at Tokyo Senju Campus may register for up to 20 credits per year through the other-faculty or other-department course registration system. The way these credits are counted depends on the course category.

Annual limit and credit classification

Registration for courses offered by another faculty or department is limited to a maximum of 20 credits per year, including free-elective courses. Credits earned in required or elective courses are treated as elective-course credits in the corresponding category or categories of the student's own programme. Credits earned in free-elective courses retain their classification as free-elective credits in the corresponding category or categories of the student's own programme.
