Readmission Eligibility After Disciplinary Action

This page explains when disciplinary withdrawal, dismissal, or expulsion prevents readmission and how capacity and selection affect readmission.

Disciplinary actions that prevent readmission

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, a person whose withdrawal was imposed as a disciplinary sanction is not eligible for readmission in the Faculty of Systems Design and Engineering or the Faculty of Engineering. In the Faculty of Systems Design and Engineering, a person dismissed as a disciplinary measure is also not eligible for readmission. In the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division, a person expelled as a disciplinary measure is not eligible for readmission.

Selection and available capacity

In the 2025 academic year, readmission in the Faculty of Engineering may be permitted after selection only when there is available capacity. The same condition applies to the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division: readmission may be permitted after selection only when capacity is available.
