Storm-Warning Class Cancellations

This page explains which class periods are cancelled based on the time a storm warning is in effect and the area covered by the warning.

Class arrangements during a storm warning

These arrangements apply when a storm warning is in effect in Tokyo’s 23 wards. If the warning has been lifted by 6:00 a.m., classes are held as usual. If the warning is still in effect at 6:00 a.m., periods 1 and 2 are cancelled. If it is still in effect at 9:00 a.m., periods 3 and 4 are cancelled. If it is still in effect at 3:00 p.m., period 5 is cancelled.
