Credits Required for Advancement in the Design Engineering Department

For the 2026 academic year, students must meet both the total-credit requirement and the general education credit requirement to advance.

Advancement Credit Requirements

To advance, students in the Design Engineering Department must earn at least 104 credits, excluding free-choice courses. They must also earn at least 34 credits from general education courses.
