How a Leave of Absence Affects Enrollment and Courses

This page explains whether a leave-of-absence period counts toward your enrollment duration and what happens to courses during leave.

Effect on Enrollment Duration

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, a leave-of-absence period is not included in your years of enrollment in the Faculty of System Design and Technology or the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division.

Courses During a Leave of Absence

For students in the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division at Tokyo Senju Campus in the 2025 academic year, courses cannot be taken while on leave. Courses taken are cancelled.
