Leave of Absence: Periods and Application Timing

For students at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Engineering Division II, this page explains when a leave of absence is required and how long leave may be taken.

When a Leave of Absence Is Required

If illness, injury, or another reason prevents you from attending classes continuously for three months or more, you must submit a leave-of-absence application and obtain approval.

Leave Periods and Full-Year Applications

A leave of absence is taken one semester at a time, with each semester lasting six months. A full-year leave covering both the first and second semesters may be applied for only during the application period for the first semester.
