Shaded Courses Are Required for Licensure

Courses shaded in the table, identified as containing general and comprehensive content, must be completed to obtain a teaching licence. This licensure requirement is separate from the course classification used for progression and graduation requirements. In other words, the classification for whether a course is mandatory, elective, or freely chosen for graduation does not determine whether the course is required for the teaching licence.
