Credit and Grade Recognition After Readmission

For students readmitted to the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2026, this page explains how general education and specialized education courses are recognized, including credit amounts and grades.

Credits and grades after readmission

Both specialized education courses and common education courses are recognized regardless of the year in which they are normally assigned. Credits are recognized according to the number of credits in the readmission destination. The grades recorded are RS, RA, RB, or RC. However, the department in the readmission destination may decide to record RN instead.

Common education courses

Human sciences courses and English courses are recognized through course correspondence. They are recognized using the credit value assigned at the readmission destination.

Specialized education courses

Specialized education courses are recognized through course correspondence. The department in the readmission destination may instead recognize them comprehensively.
