Medical Insurance Benefit Eligibility by Accident Circumstances
For the 2026 academic year, the minimum number of actual treatment days required for a medical insurance benefit under the Student Educational Research Disaster and Accident Insurance depends on where and when the accident occurred.
Minimum treatment days by accident circumstances
For accidents during regular classes or university events, medical insurance benefits are payable from the first actual treatment day. Actual treatment days mean the days on which you were hospitalized or received outpatient treatment. For accidents during extracurricular club activities, benefits are payable when the actual treatment period is at least 14 days. For accidents occurring on university premises outside extracurricular activities, or during travel, benefits are payable when the actual treatment period is at least 4 days.
