Course Registration Limit Relaxation

For the 2026 academic year, eligible students in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus may register for up to 8 additional credits per year under the relaxed limit.

Eligibility, timing, and additional credits

The course registration limit relaxation provides up to 8 additional credits per academic year. It applies from the first semester of the second year. To qualify for the relaxation of the 44-credit registration limit, you must meet both conditions: a cumulative GPA of at least 3.1 from the time of admission, and at least 36 registered credits in the previous academic year.
