Course Credit Limits: Exclusions and Eligibility to Exceed the Limit

For the 2025 academic year, free-choice courses and intensive lecture courses are excluded from the semester credit limit. Students who have earned the prescribed credits with excellent grades may also take courses beyond the limit.

Courses Excluded from the Semester Credit Limit

Free-choice courses and intensive lecture courses are not included in the maximum number of credits that may be taken in each semester.

Who May Exceed the Credit Limit

Students who have earned the prescribed credits with excellent grades may take courses beyond the credit limit specified in Article 6, Paragraph 1.
