Returning from Leave: Timing, Procedures, and Tuition

For students in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, this page explains when return from leave takes effect, the required procedures, and the tuition payment rules for 2026.

Return-from-leave timing and tuition requirements

The effective date for returning from leave is generally the beginning of a semester. You must complete the return-from-leave procedure; failure to do so may result in dismissal from the University. Tuition for the relevant academic year is charged at the rate for the regular year of study for that academic year. Tuition must be paid by the payment deadline for the semester in which you wish to return. A tuition payment deferral procedure, meaning an extension of the payment deadline, is not available for the semester in which you return.
