Required credits by school level

For the 2026 academic year, in the Faculty of System Design and Technology and the Faculty of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus, the Teaching Practicum category requires a legal minimum of 5 credits for a middle-school teaching licence and 3 credits for a high-school teaching licence. The subtotal of university courses is 6 credits for a middle-school licence and 4 credits for a high-school licence. The same credit requirements apply to the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus for the 2025 academic year.
