Minimum Teaching Practice Hours by Licence Type

For the 2026 academic year, teaching practice requirements at the Faculty of Science and Engineering depend on whether you are pursuing a junior-high or high-school teaching licence.

Required Teaching Practice Hours

For a junior-high teaching licence, teaching practice must total at least 120 hours, equivalent to 3–4 weeks. For a high-school teaching licence, it must total at least 60 hours, equivalent to 2 weeks.
