Recognition of Liberal Education Credits for Transfer Students

For transfer students at the Faculty of Future Science in the 2026 academic year, this page explains how previously earned liberal education credits are recognized and graded.

How Liberal Education Credits Are Recognized

Previously earned liberal education credits are recognized regardless of the year in which the courses are assigned. The number of credits recognized is based on the credit value of the corresponding courses at the transfer destination. The grades for these recognized liberal education courses are recorded as “RN.”
