Course Completion and Degree Awards

For the 2025 academic year at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus, this page explains how course completion is decided and which degrees are awarded upon completion or graduation.

Decision on Graduate Course Completion

The Graduate School Committee decides whether the relevant graduate course has been completed for those covered by Article 3, Paragraphs 1 and 3 of the Tokyo Denki University Degree Regulations. The decision is made in accordance with the Tokyo Denki University Graduate School Regulations.

Degrees Awarded Upon Completion or Graduation

Those who complete the master's course or the later-stage doctoral course are awarded a degree in accordance with Article 23, Paragraph 1 of the Tokyo Denki University Graduate School Regulations. A person who graduates from the University is awarded a degree in accordance with Article 32, Paragraph 1 of the Tokyo Denki University University Regulations. The bachelor's degree is awarded, under the University Regulations, to a person who graduates from the University.
