Eligible Uses of the Student Support Scholarship Loan

For eligible students, this loan may be used only for specified study-abroad, educational-equipment, or other personal-development purposes.

Permitted loan purposes

The loan must be used for one of the following purposes: university-sponsored short-term overseas language training; purchasing educational equipment or similar items for personal development; or another recognized purpose related to personal development.
