Withdrawal Warning and Recommendation Criteria

This page explains the stated conditions for a withdrawal recommendation and how the criteria for a preliminary warning are specified.

Preliminary warning and withdrawal recommendation

For the Faculty of Science and Technology, a student who has received a preliminary withdrawal warning may be recommended for withdrawal if they continue not to meet the standards separately established by the faculty and the dean determines that the student has not demonstrated sufficient willingness to study. The dean may make this recommendation after deliberation by the faculty council. The criteria for a preliminary withdrawal warning are prescribed separately and are not listed in the supplied rule here.
