Toxic and Deleterious Substances Handler Qualification
This page explains when the qualification can be used, when a dedicated responsible person must be appointed, and whether a certificate is issued.
How the qualification is used
The qualification can be used when you take a position as a toxic and deleterious substances handler at a company or other organization. It is not granted to you as an individual qualification independent of that appointment.
When a responsible person must be appointed
Businesses that manufacture, import, or sell toxic or deleterious substances must appoint a dedicated toxic and deleterious substances handler. The appointed person is responsible for preventing health and hygiene risks caused by these substances.
Certificate issuance
The qualification is usable when you take the relevant responsible-person position at a company or other organization. A certificate proving that you are a toxic and deleterious substances handler is not issued.
