When Special Scholarship Eligibility Is Lost

This page explains the circumstances under which a Special Scholarship recipient may lose eligibility, including disciplinary action and false statements in submitted documents.

General basis for losing eligibility

A scholarship recipient loses eligibility when they fall under one of the specified grounds and are consequently deemed unsuitable as a scholarship recipient.

Grounds applying to the Faculty of Science and Engineering

For the 2025 academic year at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus, one ground for losing eligibility is receiving disciplinary action for violating university regulations, including withdrawal from the university or removal from the student register, suspension, or a reprimand. Another ground is making false statements or similar misrepresentations in documents submitted to the university.
