Where the course-taking requirements are specified

For the 2026 academic year, course-taking requirements in the Faculty of Science and Technology are determined under the faculty's regulations. The requirements are set out in Table 2.

Credit limits for course registration

For the 2026 academic year, each faculty determines the maximum number of credits that students may register for in a year or semester. This maximum is set in relation to the credits students must earn to meet graduation requirements.

For the 2025 academic year, the annual course-registration limit for the Faculty of Science and Technology was 44 credits. Free subjects and subjects designated by the faculty were not included in this 44-credit limit.
