Second-Class Electrician Qualification Requirements

Examinations required

To obtain the Second-Class Electrician qualification, you must pass both the written examination and the practical examination.

Written-exam exemption through coursework

Students who complete and graduate from the programme after earning the applicable courses in every subject block of the electrical engineering curriculum specified by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry may be exempt from the written examination upon application. The requirement is to earn at least one applicable course from each of all seven subject blocks.
