Exam Late-Arrival and Early-Exit Rules

For the 2025 academic year at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, students may enter late within a specified period, but the exam time is not extended. Leaving is permitted only after 40 minutes.

Late arrival

Late arrival is permitted within 30 minutes after the exam begins. The exam time will not be extended for students who arrive late.

Leaving the exam early

Students may leave the exam room only after 40 minutes have passed from the start of the exam.

Possible changes to these rules

The rules on late arrival and leaving the exam may be changed following deliberation by the relevant faculty professors' meeting or graduate school committee.
