Credit Planning for Progression and Fourth-Year Activities

For the 2026 Electronics and Information Engineering curriculum model, the recommended credit milestones are 80 or more credits by the end of the second year and 120 or more credits before the fourth year to support research and job-hunting activities.

Recommended credits by the end of the second year

The minimum number of credits required for progression is only a minimum threshold. Students are encouraged to take courses in a balanced way and aim to earn 80 or more credits by the end of the second year.

Credits for fourth-year research and job hunting

To have sufficient time for research and job-hunting activities in the fourth year, students are expected to have earned 120 or more credits.
