Achilles Scholarship Association: Eligibility and Monthly Loan Amounts

This page explains who can apply for the Achilles Scholarship Association loan and how much is available based on living arrangements.

Eligibility

Applicants must be new first-year students who demonstrate academic excellence and upright conduct, and who have difficulty pursuing their studies for economic reasons.

Monthly Loan Amount

The monthly loan amount is ¥40,000 for students living away from their family home and ¥30,000 for students living at home.
